FIRSTPLUS

A very high traffic site, supporting online application for loans. FIRSTPLUS are highly sensitive to search engine rankings, so a lot of effort was put into the site to ensure the ranking would not drop during the changeover. Part of this project involved developing a back-end contact center web application, this allowed multiple contact centres to deal with the leads through an extranet system. A large media campaign was planned to coincide with the launch of the site. This included features on the homepage of msn.co.uk, aol.co.uk, orange.co.uk. Since launch the site has beaten many of it's previous records, including most loan applications in a day.

  • Multi-tier web service architecture.
  • Contact center extranet.
  • Extensive usability improvements.
  • Had to meet with banking compliance standards for security.

  • On launch of the site the sales increased so much that it went from one of the worst performing stores to one of their best.
  • Bespoke windows product management application developed as part of the project.
